Shipping Agent for Export & Projects – Maternity Leave

Then you might be our new Shipping Agent!

You will play an important role in:
As Shipping Agent at MAN you will be responsible for ensuring efficient execution of export shipments to customers, agents and vessels around the world. You will work closely with our freight forwarders in relation to shipment planning and execution, as well as logistically coordinate with our warehouses.

Key tasks:

• Shipment execution and follow up
• Creation of shipping documents
• Logistical coordination with warehouses and freight forwarders
• Communication with internal and external stakeholders in relation to shipments and logistics

We imagine that you:

• Have a few years of experience working with Logistical Coordination, Shipping or within relevant Supply Chain areas.
• Maintain excellent relations with internal and external stakeholders and can communicate clearly and concisely across cultures.
• Are known for your positive mindset and proactive approach to your work. You have a strong drive and a sharp eye for details as the foundations for making the right decisions.
• Are a team player and thrive within a department that is built upon cooperation and togetherness
• Have worked with ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Are fluent in English, spoken and written, and an experienced user of MS office.

Shipping Export & Projects is responsible for dispatching spare parts as well as projects related deliveries to customers all over the world. Our focus is delivering a high level of service to all relevant stakeholders.

Our daily driver are deadlines throughout the day. In order to deliver on this, the team spirit and team environment are the most important factor, luckily, this is also our strong suit!

Don’t worry, even though we are busy there are still time for our scheduled office training sessions and a quick chat across the desk to hear the latest and greatest news.

The department consists of 22 employees located at our offices in Copenhagen and Frederikshavn. The open position is for Export and can join either office.
