Job description: Marine and Offshore Project Engineer

Job overviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and accountable Project Engineer to ma nage all engineering and technical aspects of projects. The successful can didate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from conception to completion, ensuring accurate execution and high-quality standards. This includes planning, scheduling, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Repare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery.
- Ensure projects comply with relevant codes, standards, quality assu rance (QA) and quality control (QC) policies, performance bench marks, and specifications.
- Participate in maintaining ISO compliance and adherence to com pany standards.
- Interact daily with clients to understand their needs, represent their interests, and ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
- Perform quality control on all aspects of the project, including bud gets, schedules, personnel performance, and overall project prog ress, providing regular updates to the team and stakeholders.
- Delegate tasks effectively and mentor the project team to ensure successful project execution.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to offer technical assistance and support.
- Review engineering deliverables, identifying any issues, and initiat ing corrective actions as necessary.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in marine and offshore projects.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, best practices, and perfor mance standards.
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to make decisions and manage team dynamics.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Understanding of ISO standards and compliance.
- A valid European work permit, with a preference for candidates ba sed in Denmark.
- Willingness to relocate to Bornholm, Denmark.
- Ability to undertake occasional travel for project needs.
