The media house Altinget and Mandag Morgen is looking for a frontend developer

We are looking for a committed frontend developer who wants to be part of an innovative media house.
As a frontend developer at Altinget and Mandag Morgen, you will be part of a growing IT and development department. You will be part of a strong interdisciplinary team where we work towards a common goal. Together we work on both new solutions and further develop those we have already built.

As our new frontend developer, you have experience with modern Javascript frameworks such as Vue.js or React and have good frontend fundamentals (Javascript, HTML, CSS/SCSS). You are well-versed in modern web architecture and have a natural curiosity to learn. In everyday life, you are optimistic, quality-conscious and solution-oriented. If you have experience with speed optimization and automated testing, it is a plus, but not a requirement.

As our new frontend developer, you will:
• Build and maintain reusable code in our frontend solution in Nuxt/Vue.js and Typescript
• Participate in all phases of development from design to implementation, including breaking down larger tasks into smaller parts that can be delivered iteratively
• Develop features and functions that improve the user experience and ensure that the design is optimized for smartphones
• Integrate to REST API developed by our backend developers
• Optimize our websites for increased speed, accessibility and user experience
• Develop modular components that can be reused in the frontend in the future
We imagine that you have at least 3 years of experience from a previous job and are looking for new challenges. As you get to know the business, you will become the primary driver for the frontend application.

The position is full-time with salary according to qualifications. The workplace will be at Ny Kongensgade 10 in Copenhagen K. You will be part of a growing IT and development department of 10 people with reference to our IT and Development Director. You will have a broad contact surface throughout the group, which has over 200 employees with offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Brussels and Oslo.
