The position
We have recently entered an exciting phase of expansion within our Cultivation Pilot Plant (CPP) and we want you to be part of it. Join our most ambitious venture to date, as we continue to optimise our production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for clinical and development trials. At the Cultivation Pilot Plant, you will work at the interface between new process development and production scale-up, ensuring the continued quality pipeline of new drugs for our patients around the world. We work with both yeast and bacterial cell fermentation in stainless steel production facilities.

About the department
Cultivation Pilot Plants includes pilot scale facilities for cultivation and recovery of proteins at around 1000L scale. Our pharmaceutical production processes utilise mammalian cells, yeast and E. coli, and our purified proteins are utilised in clinical trials and developmental trials. The department consists of around 80 employees divided into 4 teams: Cultivation, 2 Recovery teams and Support.
CPP is part of CMC Development where there is close collaboration with the API Development teams as well as across the API Pilot facilities.
