Do you want to work with strategic events aimed at fostering world-class science environments in Denmark? We are looking for a driven and talented colleague for our Strategic Events team to help coordinate, execute and develop impactful events for the Novo Nordisk Foundation.
As a Project Specialist, you will join the Project & Portfolio Management department and the Strategic Events Team and you will be contributing to collaboration with other departments of the Foundation in a project-centric way to support, coordinate, and host events with strategic importance to the Novo Nordisk Foundation.
The role as Project Specialist for Strategic Events, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the Novo Nordisk overall vision of improving people’s health and the sustainability of society and the planet. The Novo Nordisk Foundation is one of the largest philanthropic actors in the world.
The job
You will work with both small- and large-scale events and your projects will range from supporting big symposia and workshops to carrying out scientific conferences, bringing together some of the world’s top researchers and young talents to discuss the latest scientific results and hottest topics within a particular field. Your key tasks will include:
The job both offers and requires a great deal of flexibility and involves executing multi-day conferences, evening events, and working with people in different time zones.
The primary working place is at the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s office in Hellerup.
The expected starting date is 1 December.
Professional and Personal Qualifications
We are looking for an outgoing, engaged individual with a good eye for details and relevant event planning experience within academia and the scientific environment. You most likely have a master’s or bachelor’s degree and have minimum 2 years of experience with project coordination and arranging events/meetings/conferences. In addition, we imagine that you have:
