Secure and reliably communicating systems for the maritime sector Department of Computer Science
Faculty of Science University of Copenhagen The postdoc in this position will research, develop and implemented ways to improve secure, reliable, and decentral communication systems for the maritime sector.
The position is time-limmited for 22 months
The work will be related to the development of the Maritime Connectivity Platform (
https://maritimeconnectivity.net/) with a focus on the development of a decentral trust system, that can model relations between equiptment and actors.
This position is part of the international ITEA4 innovation project “Optimal-Loads”, which has the goal to implement and integrate communication and data systems with applications to the maritime sector (
https://www.optimal-loads.eu/). An applicant is therefore expected to be able to work within an international environment and collaborate with international companies and research institutions.
The postdoc’s duties will include research within secure and reliably communicating systems as well as potential teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.
