We do this by making IT purchasing simple and transparent.

For our office in Denmark, we are seeking a Junior Account Manager to help take advantage of the growing opportunities. We are a strong team of 5 people in the DK office and work with ~200 colleagues all over the world.

You will get the opportunity to learn more about IT purchasing and IT trends, case building, negotiation, solution sales, and build/expand your skillset for future roles such as Account Manager and Key Account Manager.

Experience is not a must - But ambitions, positive attitude, curiosity, and eagerness to learn whilst being humble are all key elements for mutual success.

Hard skills

  • Fluent in Danish and English.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Experienced user in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Can present a business case to clients and crowds.

Step 1a: Assist in client engagement:

  • Join experienced colleagues in client meetings.
  • After first contact to new prospects, continue to be leading the client realtionship with back-up from the team.
  • Support the team in the development of existing clients.

Step 1b: Learn the robes of Client Support Specialist during the first 9-12 months:

  • To provide outstanding customer service to Markit clients.
  • Communicate with manufacturers, partners, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Performance in CSS will become a great asset in Account Management.

Step 2: Account Management of local clients and help with international cases:

  • This starts as soon as your abilities allow for it, prerably from 3 months in role.
  • Daily operational management.
  • Reach out to new prospects yourself.
  • Helping our clients succeed by catering to their ongoing/changing needs.
  • You are proactive on Teams/phone/email/LinkedIn etc

  • Highly experienced team to learn from, with strong culture and low hierarchy.
  • Demonstrating ownership enables increased tasks and responsibilities.
  • Unique product/value proposition.
  • Growth company culture.
  • Direct influence/lead on real cases with local-, international-, and enterprise clients.
  • International contacts – work with many different countries around the globe.
  • Learn about latest trends in IT and newest products from leading manufaturers.
