GRO Capital is a leading private equity firm focusing on B2B software in Northern Europe. They collaborate closely with founders and management teams to build market-leading software companies. With their newest fund, GRO Generation I, they manage over 8 billion AUM and have 27 employees across Copenhagen, London, and Oslo. 

 

About the role

As an Accountant, you will take independent ownership of the financial operations at GRO Capital A/S. You will be a key player in the dedicated finance team, working closely with both the Financial Controller and Finance Manager, to whom you will report. 

You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from traditional bookkeeping and reconciliations to payroll preparation and collaboration with both internal teams and external advisors. 

Your primary tasks will include:

• Full responsibility for GRO Capital’s bookkeeping, including: 
• Posting supplier invoices and accruals 
• Managing expense systems (PLEO) 
• Issuing management fee invoices 
• Balance reconciliations 
• Bank payments 
• Preparing monthly payroll and related tasks 
• Preparing documentation for the annual audit 
• Monitoring time registration 
• Coordinating with external accountants in London and Oslo 
• Various ad hoc tasks, such as updating investor information and handling inquiries 

 

Your profile

You are an experienced Accountant, preferably with a background in bookkeeping and payroll administration.  Your enthusiasm is contagious, and you thrive in a dynamic and informal environment where things can move quickly. You are service-minded and skilled at juggling multiple tasks, working in a structured and responsible manner. 

You have a keen eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture and enjoy optimizing processes and workflows. While you are comfortable working independently, you also value being part of a team that works towards shared goals. 

 

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 3 years of relevant experience in all-round accounting 
• Exudes personal drive, commitment, and a positive attitude 
• Speaks and writes fluent Danish and English 
• Is proactive, takes ownership of their tasks, and has a “can-do” attitude 
• Thrives in a service-oriented, outgoing, and independent role
