We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our collaborative Finance team based out of our HQ in Copenhagen. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, supporting month-end and year-end processes, and ensuring compliance with VAT regulations while collaborating with auditors and external partners. Success in this position means delivering accurate financial reporting, streamlining accounting processes, and providing reliable financial guidance to drive Lenus’ growth. You will maintain operational quality levels throughout Lenus and support coaches in understanding their business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliation, and documentation.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Facilitate accounts receivable processes to ensure efficient payment and collection management.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Process payments and manage communications with banking partners.
- Ensure VAT compliance and collaborate with auditors, public authorities, and external partners.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improving accounting systems and workflows.
Qualifications
We value diverse experiences and backgrounds. While not all qualifications are mandatory, the ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience in Accounting or a similar role.
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in both Danish and English.
- Educational background in accounting, auditing, or a related field.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
