Accounting Assistant

Stibo Software Group is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our shared services finance team in Aarhus, contributing to accounting, controlling, and driving period-end closing processes. This is the role and main tasks
You will be an integral part of the shared service finance team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective financial operations. After a thorough introduction, you will be responsible for processing invoices and helping with monthly closing task alongside your colleagues in the accounting team.

Your main tasks will be:

• Managing external Invoicing for Stibo Ejendomme & Stibo Software Group.
• Managing intercompany invoicing and reconciliation.
• Bookings & payments for the Foundation
• Booking and reconciling bank transactions.
• Reconciling relevant balance sheet accounts.
• Support expense team on their tasks
• Support Accounts payable team on their tasks
• Performing ad hoc tasks as needed.

The team
Y You will be part of our Global Accounting team and working with the other members of our Finance Team. The Finance team is around 18+ people where most are working out of our HQ in Aarhus, Denmark, with a good mix in gender and age.

Who we are looking for
We are seeking an Accounting Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced international environment. You should have a passion for finance and the ability to navigate complex financial processes. Working closely with the global finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Additional Candidate Requirements:

• You have a relevant education in economics and speak and write both Danish and English at a high level.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Experience in working with ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with both local and global teams.
