The Position
As an Advanced Equipment Validation Engineer at Novo Nordisk, you will play a crucial role in managing the test equipment used for design verification of drug delivery solutions. Your responsibilities will ensure trust in our test data through effective validation and qualification of test equipment, guaranteeing compliance, repeatability, and reproducibility. You will also coordinate development activities for our most complex and automated test equipment, serving as the primary contact with our stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Take ownership of one or more core test equipment setups, ensuring their effective functioning and compliance while striving to maintain them in a validated state
• Drive the acquisition and qualification of new test equipment
• Assume responsibility for the maintenance, calibration, and documentation of test equipment, ensuring seamless operations and compliance
• Author and review equipment-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and validation documentation, ensuring clarity and adherence to best practices
• Coordinate test and measurement tasks on your equipment within complex projects
• Support the development of methods for design verification testing (DVT)

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A Master’s degree in a technical discipline or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Proven expertise in equipment qualification, method validation, testing, metrology, and measurement processes
• Experience in authoring and reviewing qualification and validation documents in alignment with GMP standards
• It would be an advantage to have experience working within robotics (automated equipment) 
• Demonstrated capability in coordinating development projects and engaging with external vendors
• Proficiency in spoken and written English

As a person, you possess excellent coordination and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with colleagues and stakeholders. You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle complex issues with precision and efficiency.

 
About the department
You will join the Testing & Verification department in Devices and Delivery Solutions (DDS), which plays an important role in the medical device and primary packaging development process. We deliver specialised exploratory testing and design verification. Our responsibility includes specifying, developing, purchasing, and validating new test equipment to support and conduct verification testing of medical devices. Our team consists of 60 passionate colleagues with diverse backgrounds, including laboratory technicians, engineers, and specialists. The department is anchored in the DDS organisation, known for developing the best, most innovative, and widely used injection devices in the world. We ensure that user insights and innovation go hand in hand with a strong quality mindset.
