Let’s talk about the role
Our digital transformation is a high priority, and the journey is to stay on top of and develop digital products within Novo Nordisk. It’s a global journey with 2100+ colleagues worldwide, driving tasks with a twist of Digital, Data and IT. As an Agile Coach, you will play a key role in supporting the leadership team and the agile teams collaborating in clusters. You will also be a member of our Lean Agile Centre of Excellence (LACE), setting direction for our agile transformation and being responsible for initiatives across our teams to mature and develop our organisation.
In this role, you will coach agile teams as well as individuals e.g., Scrum Masters, Product Owners and leadership, to help them spot and react on improvement areas. You will also have the opportunity to:
An important part of your job will also be exemplifying continuous learning and an innovation culture for greater and bolder products, sharing learnings and knowledge as basis for on-going development and implementation of best practices. You will work closely with your coach colleagues to ensure alignment and collaboration across the organisation. You will be part of a department of Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters in DD&IT R&ED, and of a broader network of Agile Coaches in Novo Nordisk.

DD&IT R&ED is organized in agile teams together with our business partners. This close collaboration, with both solid product development skills and deep knowledge and understanding of the pharma research business and needs, enables us to support digital transformation and innovation in all parts of the Novo Nordisk value chain – from idea to patient. We deliver digital solution incrementally to our research colleagues and ensure delivery excellence through a constant focus on value and continuous learning. We are still maturing and developing our organization to adopt an agile mindset and convey that into our shared delivery model, and we are motivated in our effort to onboard skilled employees to support this ambitious transformation.
Our Agile Coaches are anchored in the local LACE and have a close collaboration with both Release Train Engineers and Scrum Masters to develop and mature agile practices, mindset and behaviour. Our agile product teams have highly skilled and dedicated employees, who support the DD&IT R&ED strategies by delivering digital solutions to our research colleagues and ensure adoption and benefit realization.
