The position
As a specialist in Clinical Outsourcing Management with focus on alliance management, you will be responsible for shaping and maintaining strategic alliances with our major clinical partners to ensure successful partnerships for successful trial execution in Novo Nordisk.
In this role you will also have the opportunity to:
Serve as the primary liaison to one of our major clinical partners overseeing performance across various clinical engagements; conduct regular performance reviews of partners and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Lead cross-functional teams to align on objectives, resolve issues, and facilitate communication between internal teams and partners
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential challenges in outsourced activities
Negotiate contracts and manage the financial aspects of partner engagements, including budget development and cost tracking
Manage relationship with major clinical vendors ensuring partner compliance with regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we imagine you have:
Strong experience in clinical outsourcing management, preferably from a Global Clinical Research Organisation or global pharma organisation, combined with knowledge of clinical trial operations and regulations
Strong alliance management skills and a proven track record within this area
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders
Experience with driving successful partner governance models
A master's degree within business or natural sciences with a strong analytical and data driven mindset
About the department
The Clinical Outsourcing Management team is responsible for managing and driving clinical outsourcing in Novo Nordisk. We work closely with Trial Operations and external partners to develop and execute the outsourcing strategy for clinical services. Our team is dedicated to ensuring successful trial execution through strong partnerships and effective oversight. We value collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in our work.
