As an Application Specialist focusing on our PIM and DAM systems within Business Application at ABENA Data, you will enter at an exciting phase. Unlike typical IT departments, we spend more time building and deploying than maintaining, customizing off-the-shelf applications to fit exactly what ABENA needs.

You will become the vital link between technical systems and real business value. The PIM and DAM platforms you support are essential channels for our product information, ensuring customers everywhere receive consistent, quality content. Your work directly improves how product data flows throughout the organization - from creation to the customer's screen.

The role offers an exciting combination of development projects and application operations. As our new PIM/DAM Application Specialist, you will enter our team at a very exciting moment in time, where you can help maintain and improve our applications on a global scale, and and play a crucial part in implementing and operating efficient solutions in more than 20 countries.

Your main objectives:

• Support and manage our PIM and DAM systems, including user setup and access control
• Track and follow up on system changes in our ticket system ServiceNow
• Maintain and update product information and digital assets
• Troubleshoot, document, and resolve technical issues related to PIM and DAM
• Ensure data and asset quality, including metadata and tagging
• Monitor datasheets and ensure accuracy
• Perform and document testing of new PIM/DAM functionality, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure system reliability and alignment with user needs
• Document technical solutions and communicate with the business
• Collaborate across IT, marketing, and master data teams to streamline distribution of product information and digital assets
• Contribute to process improvements and system integrations

Qualifications:

• Experience in maintaining and improving PIM and DAM systems (preferably Akeneo and Bynder)
• Experience with eCommerce or digital marketing is an advantage
• A passion for working with digital applications, systems, and data
• Strong organizational skills, commercial mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
• You navigate complexity with a well-defined process
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization ensuring clarity, alignment, and collaboration between the business and IT

Your team

The team consists of nine colleagues, three of whom are different kinds of PIM/DAM specialists and six of whom are Salesforce specialists. The team refers to Senior Manager Business Application Maria Nedersee Torp.

Our everyday life is busy and deadlines often occur, but we also have an informal atmosphere where there is always room for laughter.

Our headquarters are in Aabenraa, but we also have offices in Kolding, where you can work from when it is convenient. Traveling to subsidiaries for launches and implementation is possible but optional.
