Tir Na Nog is on the lookout for an ambitious and talented Sous-Chef to join our dynamic team in FLUX. 
This is a full-time position of 37 hours per week, with working hours varying between 10 am and 11 pm.

About Us:
Opened in July 2020, FLUX was created with a vision to serve delicious gastropub food across all areas of our
establishment, whether it's enjoying a meal in our Merchant Room, Backyard, or Tap Room. 
We are known for combining the warmth of an Irish gastropub with innovative, high-quality dining that has made us a favourite in the heart of Aarhus. 
We pride ourselves on our friendly service, a rotating seasonal menu, and a kitchen culture that values creativity and
collaboration. 
Our team works closely, like family, in an informal yet professional environment where every voice is heard, and every idea matters.

What We’re Looking for:
We are seeking a skilled Sous-Chef to take charge of the kitchen alongside our experienced Head Chef (with over 15 years
in the industry, primarily in the UK). 

The ideal candidate is:
● Experienced: Holds culinary qualifications and has relevant experience in gastro-style dining.
● Leadership-Ready: Comfortable managing kitchen operations and leading the team during service.
● Adaptable: Quick to learn, open to feedback, and thrives under pressure in a busy kitchen.
● Personable: A team player who values collaboration and fosters a positive atmosphere.
● Culturally Minded: Fluent in English (spoken and written) and thrives in an international environment.
● Creative Partner: Enjoys working closely with the Head Chef on menu development and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
● Leading the kitchen team during service.
● Ensuring the preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes.
● Collaborating with the Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
● Assisting in menu development, including seasonal and rotating options.
● Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency.
