Join us as a Postdoc in the Department of Clinical Biochemistry at Bispebjerg Hospital, where data meets diagnostics in exciting and innovative ways.
This is a 1-year position starting March 1, 2025, or by agreement, with the potential for extension. You will be part of Nicolai J. Wewer Albrechtsen’s research group and join the clinical proteomics team, an innovative environment generating large-scale proteomics data for clinical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and contribute to bioinformatic analysis of phosphoproteomics and other high-dimensional datasets
- Contribute to laboratory advancements by optimizing and implementing LC-MS/MS technologies in the lab
- Support team members with bioinformatics workflows and proteomics expertise
- Engage in cross-disciplinary collaborations within the hospital and with external partners

What We Expect - PhD in bioinformatics, biomedicine, proteomics or a related field, with a strong focus on data analysis
- Proven experience with MS-based proteomics
- Proficiency in Python programming
- At least one first-author publication in the field of proteomics, bioinformatics, biomedicine or molecular biology
- Strong communication skills and a track record of successful interdisciplinary collaborations
- Familiarity with healthcare workflows and hospital laboratory processes
About the Department The Department of Clinical Biochemistry provides 24/7 service to Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospitals, as well as general practitioners, specialists, psychiatry, and private hospitals. We process over 10.5 million tests annually and are based in state-of-the-art facilities since 2020. With 140 dedicated staff members, including 80 bioanalysts, we thrive on teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and innovation.
