Are you interested in helping shape the strategic direction for high-volume manufacturing of new medical devices in internal production? Do you have a strong background in automation and/or decoration, or do you have extensive experience with assembly processes?
Then you might be the profile we are looking for in our newly established “new product introduction” (NPI) team in device component manufacturing (DCM)!
We are looking for both junior and senior specialists who are passionate about building a strong team around NPI and operational excellence.
Apply today and help us shape the future of DCM.
The positions
We are looking for two different device specialists, one within the automation of injection moulding machines (robotics, decoration, machine vision), and one within assembly processes. In your respective area of expertise, you will be responsible for driving the NPI agenda in DCM. You will be working with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external, with your main collaborators being our development partners in FPMSAT and DDS as well as with our production shopfloor. You will also have a close link to the senior leadership team as you will be part of exploring different scenarios for NPI.
Your areas of responsibility will cover:
Driving the introduction of new components, new variants, new devices, and new technical concepts in high-volume operations.
Initiate and drive investigations of shopfloor feasibility for NPI, to determine the optimal split between operational readiness and operational excellence for DCM.
Drive ramp-up of new concepts and larger optimizations.
Responsibility for engaging with development (FPMSAT and DDS) in design for manufacturing and assembly activities as well as product maintenance committee activities.
You will be part of an organization located in the beautiful surroundings of Hillerød, in Device Components Manufacturing (DCM) unit. The Hillerød site is responsible for developing and manufacturing prefilled and durable medical devices used by millions of Novo Nordisk patients all over the world.
This is an exciting job in an open and dynamic work environment with good opportunities for professional and personal development where we emphasize collaboration, optimism, well-being, humour and commitment.
You will join a team of device manufacturing specialists, reporting directly to the director for the area.
Qualifications
On a personal level, you are an ambitious and structured professional with a passion for device manufacturing, thriving in both strategic and hands-on tasks. With a high degree of independence, you excel at gathering and communicating relevant information to stakeholders, influencing business objectives and strategic projects to align with production needs. Collaborative by nature, you work effectively across all organizational levels, designing and executing clear plans and timelines. Your curiosity and energy are fueled by engaging with the shopfloor and production teams, ensuring high-quality results while maintaining a positive and open-minded approach.
To succeed in this position, you should have:
Holds a relevant academic degree in system, process, or production engineering with professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
Extensive experience in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries, working under GMP requirements, including validation and testing (FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ).
Over 5 years of expertise in automation or assembly of polymer components within production or manufacturing development environments.
Strong stakeholder and communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships at all organizational levels, including project participation or management.
Hands-on shopfloor experience and broad knowledge of internal processes in finished product manufacturing are advantageous, as is the ability to understand or communicate in Danish.
