We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic assistant professor in Companion Animal Internal Medicine from 15 May 2025 or after agreement. The position is limited to 3 years.

The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences covers strong and internationally recognized research areas in clinical veterinary sciences. Based on these, we want to set a new standard for cross-disciplinary research, education and innovation within animal health and disease and be among the best public workplaces in Denmark. Our research supports teaching in a manner and quality securing continued national and international bench marking. Our Research
The companion animal internal medicine research group is focused on acute inflammatory and/or infectious conditions of the gastrointestinal and urinary tracts, as well as antimicrobial stewardship.
Our group is part of the Section for Clinical Practice and Diagnostics in Companion Animals and includes faculty, European boarded diplomates, residents in training and PhD students. We run a high throughput clinical referral service, receiving animal patients which form the basis for research, clinical teaching of veterinary students and postgraduate master students (www.cacs.ku.dk). The Companion Animal Internal Medicine referral service is internationally accredited and approved by the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine-Oncology (ECVIM-CA, IM) as a specialist (residency) training site.
Your job
You will support the continued research based development of internal medicine preclinical, clinical and postgraduate (www.cacs.ku.dk) teaching, as well as the internal medicine referral service at The University Hospital for Companion Animals.

The further process
After the expiry of the deadline for applications, the authorized recruitment manager selects applicants for assessment on the advice of the hiring committee.
