Assistent Manager for Hazmat Cleaning

About the Position: As Assistant Manager, your primary tasks will include, in collaboration with our Cleaning Manager, assisting with planning and executing tasks, providing progress updates on projects, conducting various inspections, and ensuring that our dedicated team has what they need. We offer the necessary training courses to prepare you for the tasks ahead. You will be part of a small team where communication and collaboration are key elements of daily life.

Our focus is on the decommissioning and recycling of large offshore structures, with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental responsibility. Therefore, both internal and external courses will be held regularly to ensure that we always meet our obligations regarding environmentally friendly and safe recycling.

About You: We are looking for a candidate who is either a certified marine engineer, ship mechanic, or has other relevant experience from the maritime world. Familiarity with P&IDs is an important part of the job. You can be a recent graduate or have solid experience, but experience in the offshore sector or a maritime elective is an advantage.

It is also possible that you have previous experience in the same field and therefore hold relevant certifications, such as:

• Asbestos: Safety and Handling, ADR Certificate, Chemical Handling, §17Certificate, Hazardous Waste Management, Chemical Safety.

The position is flexible, and you have the opportunity to shape your workday in collaboration with your colleagues. Strong English communication skills are essential, as this is our primary working language.
