The position
As Associate Manager for Drug Product Laboratory Automation, you will be a vital part of our leadership team and you will be responsible for leading a group of 7 individuals focused on automating laboratory processes.
In this position, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of several automation projects in our area. We cover the process from early design, sourcing, implementation and daily operations including validation.
You will be a part of the leadership team in the department with 4 other Associate Managers referring to the area head/Sr. Director. You will also have a significant interphase with a broad number of internal and external stakeholders including close collaboration with managers and project leaders from various analytical laboratories across Novo Nordisk.
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you have:
Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams
3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical product development and/or laboratory automation
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills in English and Danish
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Previous leadership experience is an advantage
About the department
Injectable Formulation Development is part of CMC Development & Scaling. We are responsible for developing formulations and production processes for all new injectable products at Novo Nordisk. The department is organised in 5 teams and we are 90 scientists and laboratory technicians. The department is situated in Måløv. In our daily work we link research and GMP production and drive the entire variety of injectable projects in Novo Nordisk covering clinical phase 1-3. We are very dedicated to optimise our laboratories through automation. We have recently implemented a fully automated sample storage and we are in the process of establishing a fully automated laboratory with liquid handling, filling, capping and labelling equipment.
