Associate Manager for Production Planning Team

The Position

As the Associate Manager for our planning team, your primary role will be to ensure effective production planning and maintenance execution. You will lead a team of experienced production planners with varying competencies and seniority. Your responsibilities include:

• Operational Planning: Oversee production plans, stock levels, and maintenance plans.
• Execution: Ensure stable and effective production execution alongside our tactical planners.
• Maximizing Output: Optimize bottleneck operations.
• Scenario Preparation: Develop and present production scenarios to the management group.
• Strategic Direction: Continuously improve planning processes, standards, and systems.
• Leadership: Lead and coach the planning team.

Our department, Business Support, consists of 50 specialized employees working closely across teams and associate managers, including training, planning, warehouse, purchase, finance, and cLEAN coordination. Together, we support two multi-purpose lines covering Fermentation, Recovery, and Purification.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you have:

• Academic background in engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• Several years of planning experience in the global pharmaceutical industry or a production unit, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to communicate with employees at all levels.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Danish skills or willingness to learn are advantageous.
