The Position
As our new Associate Manager, you will lead the optimisation of internal project execution processes. This includes ensuring that we continue to use the best digital tools and software within project management. You will be responsible for driving and supporting how we control our resource needs across all projects on-site. Additionally, you should expect to play a key role in collaborating with stakeholders, who also deliver resources in terms of competences and capabilities for our projects. This includes both internal departments and overseeing external consultant companies.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should:
- have at least five years of project management experience combined with 3 years of people leadership experience
- hold a degree in Engineering or another technical field at a minimum bachelor's level
- be fluent in English and Danish
- preferably have competencies within MS Projects and Power BI solutions for visualising projects and/or have PM certifications
- preferably have knowledge of medical device production and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practise), as well as knowledge within the qualification and validation of equipment and processes.
As a leader, you should demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to interact with people at all levels in the organisation. As an individual, you should not be afraid of making decisions and setting direction. You should be empathic, ambitious, proactive and capable of developing your employees from where they are. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of independence in prioritising and planning execution.
About the department
You will be Associate Manager of our Project Execution & Planning team which consists of seven highly competent and engaged employees who ensure a high level of project planning and project support. The team is part of Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing, which is overall responsible for the global end-to-end supply chain of Novo Nordisk's pen needles, including both internal and external production, quality assurance and manufacturing development. The organisation is divided into eight departments and has app. 500 employees dedicated to ensuring the pen needle supply to Novo Nordisk.
