The Position
As our new Automation Engineer in AP Automation, you will play a prominent role in Fill & Finish production Expansions team, where we are building our new global and digital AP Module and accelerating the implementation across global sites. You will also be part of a group responsible for advancing the use of new innovative and existing technologies.
You will be working in a broad network of stakeholders from Global IT, PS sites, process and engineering responsible in addition to multiple suppliers involved.
Some travel activity is to be expected.
We will provide all necessary trainings, with a focus on helping you become an OT Security Specialist.
The main tasks will be to:
• Set the direction for FFEx in OT security, while working closely with Global Information Security (GIS) on setting the strategy that our team and vendors will implement.
• Work side by side with the different key stakeholders both in Novo Nordisk and suppliers to evaluate and enable IT, automation and digital solutions and architecture, drawing a good balance between speed, simplicity and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with process, engineering and production responsible stakeholders to assess requirements and rightly influence the design.
• Have an active and strong voice amongst a network of automation engineers, specialists and architects.
Qualifications
To be a competitive candidate, you should:
• Hold a master’s, bachelor’s, or technician degree in automation and/or IT and have technical experience from the automation/production industry.
• Have experience with one or more of the following technologies: MES, PCS, IOT, PLC and Industry 4.0.
• Understand Automation architecture and IT solutions within a production environment, and preferably you have experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulated industry.
• Have project management skills and experience within OT Security, which is considered an advantage.
• Fluent levels of verbal and written English.
On a personal level, you work effectively with a natural respect based on technical skills. Having a structural approach allows you to maintain a broad overview while keeping a keen eye for details. Being a professional who can communicate effectively while also securing adherence to technical quality standards is crucial in this role.

DD&IT PS – Fill & Finish Expansions is a program organization - built in a multi-dimensional matrix structure, that’s designed to foster cross-organizational and cross-functional collaboration to shape our future.
Our goal is to design and build future-proof, global fill & finish production facilities, with a focus on establishing strong foundational IT and automation that will enable these facilities to digitally evolve.
As a member of our department, you will work closely with colleagues responsible for processes and engineering, as well as various technology partners both internally and externally.
