The Job
To continue our growth and positive development, we need to add capacity to our Design department. The department is the corner stone of our avionics modification programs by developing and designing complex structural and electrical complete turn-key modifications for basically any application and is involved in complete aircraft nose to tail engineering programs. Providing all interfaces and interconnections for complete aircraft development programs, which vary from smaller upgrades to complete cockpit modification programs, on a wide variety of aircrafts, helicopters, and drones, worldwide. Our Design department is highly ranked within EASA and we carry a big scope of minor and major approvals.
Referring to the Head of Design you will be working within the following areas, depending on your experience:

A full-time job with great variation and opportunities, working with good Danish and international colleagues in a flat and informal organization. The job is with SA Design located in Billund, Denmark, along with the Scandinavian Avionics Headquarters. Living in Denmark or moving here will increase the chance to succeed in the role, but with the right mindset working from remote is also possible. For a potential relocation to Denmark, we offer full support with interim housing along with help for all the practicalities from work permit to bank accounts.
Salary and terms will of course match competitive standards and will be set based on your individual qualifications and experience.

An EASA Part 21J Design Organization
Through the EASA Part 21J approved design organization, Scandinavian Avionics Design ApS (SAD) - member of The SA Group, offers development of supplemental type certificates (STC) and minor changes to existing aircraft type certificates, covering any avionics or electrical modification of any aircraft or helicopter application.
Over the years, SAD has developed more than 700 STCs and certification packages for a wide range of avionics system modifications in a wide range of aircraft types.
SAD also provides certification packages complying with a wide range of other military and civil regulations and requirements, customized to the specific rules and regulations in any specific area.
