BI Architect

Are you our new BI Architect?

We are current looking for a BI Architect to become a part of our global IT department to help us build robust and efficient BI solutions. This is a new position, offering you the opportunity to shape and develop the role within our organization.

You will join our global IT team known for its good humor, teamwork, and cooperation. Reporting directly to our VP Group IT, you will be based in our HQ in Lem, Denmark with the option to work from Stade, Germany or hybrid. Expect travel, onsite, online and hybrid working conditions as we support our transformation. You will have 8 IT colleagues at the office in Lem, Denmark, and 7 colleagues around the globe on other locations.

Responsibilities

You will play a key role in designing, developing and implementing our enterprise BI solutions. You will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable and efficient BI systems. Additionally, you will:

• Architect and design BI solutions to meet organizational needs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Design and implement ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources
• Develop data governance and oversee our data platforms that enable reports and dashboards
• Act as a technical sparring partner of report requirements, data validation and custom needs for departments such as e.g. Quality, Finance, Operations
• Train and support business users in using BI tools, build and deploy train-the-trainer concepts to foster a data-driven culture
• Stay updated with the latest BI technologies

Professional Profile

You are likely already working as a BI Architect or in a similar role with several years of experience in building robust and efficient BI solutions. You are curious, continuously seeking improvement and are not afraid to take the lead. You have high expectations of your colleagues and strive to challenge the status quo.

• BI Architect, probably graduated from Data Science, Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years seniority of working with BI, data architecture and data engineering
• Proven track record of designing and building enterprise BI solutions
• Experience in data warehouse principles, ETL and data integration techniques
• Specialist in Power BI, Data Fabric, DataVerse and fluid ETL, SQL, BI queries etc.
• Experience in supporting and training users in data analytics and Power BI
• Proactive and problem-oriented mindset
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Proficiency in Danish and English, German is a plus
