Biogenity is Contract Research Organization specializing in various life science research and discovery fields in diagnostics and therapeutics. Our mission is to assist omics-based discovery by empowering researchers with our expertise to get the most out of the omics analysis.
Today, Biogenity has a series of omics fee-for-service. Here, we offer research analysis to identify, list, and characterize proteomes, metabolomes, and transcriptomes.

The job description
We are seeking a talented and driven Bioinformatician to join our dynamic team starting February 1, 2025. In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative bioinformatics tools, analyze complex biological data, and collaborate with leading researchers in the field. You will be involved in a large five-year EU-project, the EXPOSIM project, and will be responsible for leading and completing tasks related to text mining, omics integration, machine learning, network analysis, and meta-analysis. You will also be a part of our data science team, analyzing client data and developing, optimizing and maintaining data analytical pipelines.

Our expectations of you
To be considered for this position, you should hold an MSc or Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related discipline. You should have proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python and possess a strong understanding of bioinformatics tools. Experience with large-scale data analysis is essential, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
We will value candidates with familiarity in AI and machine learning approaches applied to biological data, as this is an advantage for the role.
