BoConcept A/S in Ølgod is looking for a Purchaser

At BoConcept, we are working on our ambitious growth strategy, and in this context, we are looking for a result-oriented Purchaser with strong analytical and communication skills.

Supplier Cooperation and Communication Responsibilities
As Purchaser, you will report to the Head of Purchasing and play an important role in the execution of our ambitious growth plan. Your primary role will be ensuring that BoConcept consistently offers a collection from a strong range of suppliers with the right commercial conditions.
You will be responsible for our purchasing/sourcing activities within the upholstery category, working with suppliers from Europe and Asia. You will need to ensure that the supply chain can lead projects with participants from internal and external stakeholders. Supplier responsibility is at a strategic level and does not include daily purchasing. Within the upholstery category, we offer great development opportunities. Additionally, you will be part of our ongoing strategic and analytical development to ensure the right conditions for BoConcept with our direct and indirect suppliers.
Main responsibilities also include negotiations with your own supplier portfolio. Additionally, you will be involved in developing our B2B concept with our suppliers on upholstery, together with our B2B sales team.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Handling and supporting day-to-day supply chain activities
• Ensuring persistent data and KPI targets for your suppliers' follow-up
• Optimizing and managing the supplier portfolio
• Ensuring capacity within existing and future demands
• Supplier and product screening
• Price negotiations

You can expect approximately 15-20 days of travel per year. Your main work base will be in Ølgod, with flexible working conditions.

You as a Person
We expect you to have 3-5 years of experience within purchasing and sourcing, preferably from the furniture industry.
As a person, you are outgoing and used to working with many stakeholders, with an analytical and structured approach to your daily tasks. The job requires excellent communication skills, and we expect that you are fluent in English—both spoken and written.
You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
