Are you ready to use your analytics toolbox to shape the pipeline of future products and long-term strategy at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech? We are looking for an experienced Business Analytics Manager that can join the New Product Marketing team and work side by side with Product Managers and Scientists in finding the best solutions to move projects forward. The Position 

You will be having a very active role in the team, working closely together with the product managers and together with the R&D, Finance team and Commercial Excellence team. You will have a key role in providing recommendations based on your analysis and data gathered. 

 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Identify actionable opportunities & insights and drive strategic initiatives that will shape the product pipeline. 

  • Be the owner of the product pipeline forecasting. 

  • Perform deep dive analysis to create insights and identify commercial opportunities and risks. 

  • Generate business cases and provide recommendations on key strategic decisions based on your analysis (NPV, IRR, ROI). 

  • Conduct market research by collecting and analyzing data from different sources, including market reports. 

  • Follow market trend or regular basis. 

It is expected from you to take the lead on the data analysis and models used, and to work closely with the Product Managers to come with joined commercial recommendations regarding proof of business and viability of the project.  

 

Qualifications 

We expect you to have: 

  • a M.Sc. degree in business, finance or other relevant education. 

  • At least 5 years of experience in business insights and analytics, ideally from life science. 

  • Experience with financial tools and metrics such as P&L analysis, NPVs, ROI, IRR, etc. 

  • The ability to present data to the upper management in a comprehensive and explanatory way. 

  • Are fluent in written and spoken English. 

  

As a person, you are self-driven and you know how to take initiative. You have good planning skills and think strategically. You are able to stand behind and defend your numbers and recommendations. You will also be participating in different projects at once, so you need to be good at prioritizing and keeping focus on the strategic goals. 

 

About the Department 

Ready to join and enable shaping the future products of Novo Nordisk Pharmatech? You will be part of the New Product Marketing team within Sales & Marketing department. We are responsible for bringing new products to market where product managers, scientists, and business analysts are working closely together. We strive to identify trends and opportunities in the industry, collecting and analyzing the data to make sound business and strategic recommendations to the organization while working together with other departments across the organization.
