Business Architect

We are looking for an experienced freelance Business Architect to contribute to a strategic program with a focus on creating coherence between the organization's strategic goals and business processes. A significant part of the task is to ensure that the ownership of the organization's business capabilities and processes is anchored with dedicated Product Owners. At the same time, the task must be integrated with an existing change management initiative to support effective implementation and organizational acceptance.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Experience with strategic alignment, process optimization and anchoring ownership with Product Owners
• Can ensure integration with change management
• Documented experience as a Business Architect with a focus on strategy, process optimization and governance
• Experience in anchoring ownership with Product Owners or similar roles
• Competences in process modeling (BPMN, ArchiMate) and strategic alignment (TOGAF)
• Experience with integration of change management in complex organizations
• Strong communication skills and experience facilitating workshops and training
• Professional level of English - both oral and written
• Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Review the program's strategic goals and ensure their clear linkage to the organization's capabilities and business processes
• Ensure that processes and capabilities have identified necessary changes and these are anchored in the right initiatives
• Develop and implement a structure where the ownership of business capabilities and processes is anchored with dedicated Product Owners
• Define clear roles and responsibilities for Product Owners, including management of processes, follow-up on performance and ongoing improvements
• Facilitate workshops with relevant stakeholders to appoint Product Owners and create understanding of their responsibilities
• Ensure that they are equipped with the necessary tools, KPIs and governance models to carry out their roles
• Establish a governance structure that supports Product Owners in their work, including clear decision-making processes and follow-up mechanisms
• Ensure continuous monitoring and adjustment of the ownership models based on organizational feedback and business needs
• Work closely with the change management team to ensure effective implementation of the ownership and governance structure
• Contribute to the development of communication and training plans that support Product Owners in assuming their role
• Identify potential organizational barriers and risks and ensure they are addressed through a proactive change management effort
• Ensure that the ownership of Product Owners is anchored as a natural part of the organisation's work processes
• Support implementation by developing training materials and holding workshops that strengthen their understanding and commitment
• Process models that clarify necessary changes
• Structure for ownership of business capabilities and processes, rooted in Product Owners
• Governance models and tools to support Product Owners in their roles
