Business Controller

We are looking for a new colleague to join an exciting project with our client in the renewable industry.

 

Location: Mid Jutland, hybrid.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• At least 3 years’ experience working in a FP&A / Business Partnering / Business Control role
• University (Ms/Bs) degree in a relevant field (i.e. controlling, economics, accounting or finance)
• Strong in MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong team player, with the ability to influence over a wide network of co-worker relationships and work in multicultural settings
• Data thinker and IT savvy
• Ability to work independently with a hands-on and pragmatic mind set
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Experience in handling different stakeholders, e.g. through involvement in voluntary board memberships (e.g. treasurer in foundation)
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Valid EU work permit making you able to start working in Denmark right away
• Professional level of English - both oral and written

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Prepare and provide monthly reporting for different departments including data processing and creation of management reports
• Provide finance/commercial support (and challenge) to the departments with timely analysis of their financial performance, identifying trends/improvements and recommending actions to management
• Involvement in the 5 year Business Plan and regular forecasts
• Prepare and analyze monthly results and communicate this to the managers and Department Heads
• Support the financial controlling department with relevant business insight / rationale in local country statutory audits
• Further develop digital dashboards used for follow up of their projects
• Ad hoc participation in project and strategic improvement initiatives
