Business Developer | Phanofi

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Developer to join our innovative team in Lyngby, Denmark. This role will involve establishing key partnerships with industry players, identifying new market opportunities, securing funding through grant applications, and representing the company at industry events.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the data communications industry to drive collaboration and growth

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the photonics industry

• Write compelling grant applications for Danish and EU funding agencies

• Oversee and coordinate the execution of business development projects, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of objectives

• Implement effective public relations strategies, including social media management and participation in industry events

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the photonics industry

  
  

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the photonics industry with a demonstrated ability to drive business growth and develop strategic partnerships

• Engineering background especially in photonics, electronics, or communications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, sales, and marketing, or a related field is a plus

  
  

Skills:

• A strong understanding of photonics technology, with a particular focus on data communication applications

• Demonstrable experience as a business developer, and commercialization strategies

• Innovative mindset to stay updated on market dynamics, industry trends, and maintain a competitive edge

• Team collaboration skills to foster a collaborative environment

• Proven experience in B2B sales and strategic partnerships
