Business Development Specialist at Millennial Consulting (Part-time Student/Graduate Position)

About us

Millennial Consulting is a student-run management consultancy and program, belonging in the Student & Innovation House, Station. We provide strategy consulting services to start-ups and SMEs that seek help with their business, by matching them with ambitious students and recent graduates for a two-month consulting project. We are supported by external mentors who are professional management consultants, and some of our student consultants and leadership team members have gone on to work in consulting themselves. Some of our external consultancy partners from previous cycles include PwC, Accenture, EY-Parthenon, Round, and BearingPoint.

We are currently expanding our Business Development department for an ambitious 2025!

What we look for

You are a motivated student from a university in Denmark, who wants to join our Leadership Team to accelerate the growth of Millennial Consulting with an ambitious goal to bridge student consultants from a range of universities around Copenhagen with local start-ups and SMEs that are involved in environmental or social good.

As a Business Development Specialist, you will help with the acquisition of new clients for our Student Consultant Projects, together with 4-6 other students/recent graduates belonging to the Business Development department. The team's tasks include reaching out to potential clients and start-up hubs, following up on contact with clients and fostering relations with these, selecting clients and scoping projects for the Student Consultant Projects.

We expect that:

• You have an entrepreneurial spirit and experience in managing projects

• You are interested in start-ups, SMEs and/or management consulting

• You have high analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• You are a team player, who enjoys working in a diverse team

• You are curious and looking for a workplace to share your creative ideas and strategies

We are a dynamic team consisting of different departments, ranging from Communications, HR & Recruitment, Business Development, Operations and Finance. To make onboarding successful, you can expect from us:
