Business Development Manager - Clutches & Brakes Division

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in the Marine and Oil & Gas markets. This role is pivotal in driving sales, securing customer specifications, and growing our market share globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of Clutches & Brakes products through direct and indirect channels.
- Collaborate with key personnel across Brand, Strategic Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Engineering, and Design to ensure a cohesive market strategy.
- Secure customer specifications and preferences for our full Clutches & Brakes portfolio.
- Achieve profitable share gains at key accounts and segments.
- Coordinate and support share gain activities at top global strategic accounts.
- Identify and support new strategic accounts to grow market share.
- Partner with Commercial Operations to document and track activities in Salesforce.
- Manage and grow the top account opportunity funnel.
- Assist in the development and communication of strategic account initiatives.
- Develop and support strategic relationships with key decision-makers.
- Partner with the field service team to leverage offerings and increase sales.
- Act as a solution expert for Clutches & Brakes strategic accounts.
- Develop customer value propositions and deploy them into customer-facing content.
- Provide technical support to sales and channel partners.
- Capture Voice-of-Customer insights to drive new product development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education/experience.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of Rexnord's solutions.
- Willingness to travel 40-60%.
- Customer-focused with a proven track record of setting high expectations and delivering results.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to overcome objections.
- Ability to find win-win solutions for the business and customers.
- Self-starter with a "can do" attitude.
- Proficient in Office 365 suite (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Kaizen and Lean concepts.
- Knowledge of 80/20 Methodology.
