Business Development Specialist Road Construction

JOB PURPOSE:

The Business Development Specialist Road Construction will ensure the sales of Road construction products by developing the market, both at the distributor and end customer-side and develop the market presence of Topcon in Road Construction in UK& Ireland and Nordics Countries ( Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway)

CORE JOB DUTIES

Work to build up a network with the most important customers / partners / stakeholders in the area.

Responsible for maximizing the sales of the road construction portfolio within the designated region in line with the agreed sales budgets.

Understand the road construction industry and create business with existing and new stakeholders.

Work closely with Topcon’s Sales and Marketing Teams to provide business solutions.

Creating and supporting events for distributors, subsidiaries, authorities, universities and similar.

Get in contact with tendering authorities and private project owners to add Topcon’s Road construction portfolio to tenders.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

Civil engineer degree or similar in Business and/or Construction Industry

5+ years’ working experience in road construction and/or construction business.

Salesmen with a technical understanding

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

Affinity for digitization

Ability of building trusted long-term professional relationships

A basic know-how for survey industry will be an advantage

Able to present in front of deciders in local and English language.

Willingness working in a virtual team

Language skill: fluent English language ( verbally and in written form)

The knowledge of another European language will be an advantage

This is a hybrid role working remote in UK/ Ireland or Nordic countries
