You will play an important role in:
MAN Finance & Controlling is looking for a high-performing and eager-to-grow individual to support our continuous journey in improving the financial and business insights through our data.

As a Business Intelligence Student Assistant, you will be a key member of our team, being responsible for the data infrastructure as well as implementing and maintaining business intelligence tools and systems. The individual in this role will have the opportunity to work with a variety of data sources and technologies and will play a key role in helping the organization make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.

More specifically, you will as a Business Intelligence Student Assistant:

• Develop, optimize and maintain analytical reports in Power BI
• Cleanse and structure raw data in order to improve analytical reports
• Provide in-depth analysis of a broad range of business activities
• Create and support the business with ad hoc reports and analyses as needed
• Provide technical support on existing applications

We imagine that you:

• Are currently an enrolled student at a business school or university within the field of Finance, Engineering or Business Analytics. Ideally, you have just started your Master’s Degree
• Possesses strong analytical skills
• Possess great communication and presentation skills in English
• Thrive by working independently as well as in teams
• Have some programming experience, e.g. Python, C# or similar, will be considered as a plus
• Are comfortable with Excel (e.g. filters, pivot tables, lookup formulas, index/match)
• Ideally have knowledge in SQL language and relational databases
• Ideally have experience in data visualization in Power BI, Tableau or similar
• Can work approx. 15 hours a week (flexible hours to accommodate your academic schedule)
