PIECES is seeking a skilled Buying Manager to lead and inspire our buying team. The role offers an opportunity to shape our collections and impact our brand's growth.

ABOUT THE TEAM
You will join our passionate buying department at PIECES, where collaboration and team spirit are the foundation of everything we do. As Buying Manager, you'll lead a team of 5 dedicated professionals who create and deliver inspiring collections that align with our brand DNA and drive sales across markets.

THE ROLE
As Buying Manager, you'll take on a central leadership role, managing both your team's performance and the success of PIECES' product development. From short-term sourcing strategies to long-term supplier collaborations, you'll oversee all aspects of the buying process while ensuring alignment with our business goals.

Your responsibilities include:

Team Leadership: Manage and develop your team, focusing on their professional and personal growth through regular one-on-one meetings and development talks.

Sourcing & Supplier Collaboration: Establish and nurture relationships with suppliers through frequent visits and meetings, ensuring high-quality results and mutually beneficial partnerships.

Product Development: Lead the development of collections across markets, focusing on delivering the right product at the right time and price, including sustainable material sourcing.

Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations for the sales team to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge to succeed.

Strategy Execution: Drive both short- and long-term sourcing strategies while ensuring alignment with PIECES' goals and market trends.

Travel: Travel for inspiration trips and supplier meetings to ensure hands-on collaboration and understanding of production processes.

YOUR PROFILE
We’re looking for a driven leader who thrives in a dynamic environment. You are energized by collaboration, goal-setting, and achieving results. With a strong understanding of fashion and sourcing, you know how to balance creativity with commercial success.

Qualifications:

Proven leadership experience, managing a team of at least 4 colleagues.

Experience in both short- and long-term sourcing strategies.

Experience collaborating with suppliers in different countries.

Strong background in fashion buying and product development, with a minimum of 3 years in the industry.

Excellent presentation skills and confidence in sharing ideas with sales teams and stakeholders.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
