Call for letter of interest – Communication Consultant

Are you an independent Communication Consultant looking for an exciting opportunity? 

We welcome Letters of Interest from eligible candidates, who will be affiliated on an hourly basis for a period to mainly draw up our communication strategy. The position will also entail some development and creation of media content for social media, website and press.  
We expect the assignment to initially be for 20 hours a week for 6 months. 

The Novo Nordisk Foundation Initiative for Vaccines and Immunity (NIVI), launched in December 2023, has a unique mission to harness airway immunity through innovative vaccine research and development to prevent airborne epidemics.  NIVI has two parts:
•    NIVI Research (NIVI-R): A cutting-edge research center anchored to the University of Copenhagen.
•    NIVI Development (NIVI-D): A company that focuses on translational sciences and advancing vaccine development.

NIVI-R conducts scientific research, while NIVI-D works to quickly turn that research into new vaccine candidates. NIVI-D accelerates clinical trials (phases 1 and 2) and ensures a smooth transition to partners for later stages of development.

By connecting science, innovation, clinical trials, regulatory processes, and product development, NIVI aims to streamline the journey from research to real-world vaccines.

We are seeking a highly skilled communication consultant with extensive experience to develop the communication strategy for NIVI Research starting as soon as possible. 

Qualifications
We expect you to be motivated by working with a newly established organization, be able to navigate in a broad stakeholder landscape, to have strong interpersonal skills, and experience in complex organizations.
