Qualifications To succeed in this role, we imagine you: Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field Bring prior experience in category management, procurement, or business development from an international organization or start-up within pharmaceuticals Demonstrate a proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing suppliers Possess strong communication and presentation skills, along with solid stakeholder management and networking skills Showcase fluency in both verbal and written English It would be considered as a strong advantage if you have experience working with CMOs or possess knowledge of aseptic production. On a personal level, you have a commercial and strategic mindset, with the ability to quickly understand complex business models and industry dynamics. You maintain a holistic view on the entire Category alongside your team members, while understanding its broader impact on the supply chain, all while staying engaged with the specifics of your projects. You proactively cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Lastly, you thrive working on your own while also actively sharing your expertise with the team and mentoring colleagues to help them succeed in their roles. About the department Global Strategic Outsourcing & Devices (GSOD) is the central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division. Through collaboration with our international supplier networks, we ensure the availability of external supply needed to develop and produce products that help millions of people around the world living with chronic diseases.
