Category Manager – Renewables

Your position 
In your new position as Category Manager in the Strategic Procurement team within our Renewables division, you will be a valuable member of a dedicated team whose mission is to drive excellence in our strategic procurement and contracting processes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping procurement categories and supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with our commitment to sustainable growth and market leadership. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector.

Your place of work will be at our office in Gdynia, Poland. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel up to 30 days per year.

Your tasks & responsibilities 
As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing procurement categories and supplier relations within the Renewables division, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure competitiveness and efficiency. 

Your tasks will include but are not limited to: 

• Developing procurement categories in the Renewables division and enabling category core teams. 
• Engaging with suppliers and fostering strong partnerships to enhance our Product Line configurator. 
• Ensuring supplier involvement in maintaining availability and competitiveness of modular solutions. 
• Collaborating with Solutions Engineers and technical leads to manage the category roadmap. 
• Supporting and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities. 

Your profile & qualifications 
We are looking for an ambitious and analytical procurement professional who thrives in an international environment and is passionate about strategic procurement and supplier relationship management. 

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have: 

• A degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or relevant experience in an international procurement setting. 
• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to engage with stakeholders across different levels. 
• Experience in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), supply chain development, and strategic procurement. 
• A proactive and organized approach, with the ability to drive category strategies and continuous improvements. 
• Knowledge of contract management, supplier consolidation, and cost analysis.
