CBTC Engineer

Signal Department

At SYSTRA Denmark, we work on a wide range of major infrastructure projects across Denmark. In the Signal department, we have many years of experience in expanding and modernizing signaling systems for the railway network in Denmark and abroad. Our Signal Department in Ørestad consists of 30 colleagues specialized in analysis, design, and consulting within safety systems, train control systems, remote control systems, and information systems for railways.

We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced CBTC engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience to join our dynamic team. You will be a key player in the development and implementation of advanced train systems, contributing to ensuring efficient and safe train operations.

Your primary tasks will include:

• Designing and implementing CBTC systems.

• Troubleshooting and optimizing existing train systems.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on system integration.

• Project work and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

• Providing technical support and advice to customers and partners.

• Small amount of traveling for projects in Denmark and abroad.

Your background:

• At least 5 years of experience with CBTC or similar train systems.

• Strong background in system engineering, preferably with a focus on peripheral systems.

• Ability to work independently and in teams.

• Good understanding of complex technical systems and their interactions.

• Experience with project work in large projects/programs and close customer contact.

• Fluently in English and Danish, both written and spoken.

• Relevant educational background as an engineer or equivalent technical education.
