Administration, community building and outreach
DTU’s Centre for Absolute Sustainability is looking for an outgoing and organised Centre Coordinator, to take the lead on administering the Centre, building our internal community, and spearheading our external outreach activities.
The job
We are looking for an academic new colleague with organisational competencies, to help us administer the Centre, plus a flair for communication and teamwork, to support the management and take the lead role in our internal and external community building and outreach activities.
Primary areas of responsibility will include:
Our expectations of you
You have experience in coordinating projects and people, with respect to administrative, practical and organisational issues, and with respect to motivating and developing the team members. You have qualifications and/or experience within the field of sustainability, preferably with a relevant degree or similar qualifications, in order to be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders and to organize, host & facilitate the Centre’s outreach events and activities. You enjoy working in a dynamic and fast developing environment and are able to prioritise and manage many tasks of different shapes, sizes and importance. You thrive amongst subject experts and enjoy helping to prepare them to communicate their research and expertise to others.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
The period of employment is 3 years.
