The position
In this role, you will work as a Subject Matter Expert providing technical leadership on Health and Safety Chemical aspects, developing of the chemical agenda and support-ing all Corporate CVP area within chemical aspects of Development Product Portfolio & Emerging Technologies (DPP&ET) on a global level.
Main responsibilities will be to:
• Support DPP&ET CVP organisation as chemical expert, this will include produc-tion and/or checking of early phase project deliverables appropriate to disci-pline speciality
• Support process risk assessments in order to establish and deliver safe process operations and meet drug substance quality requirements
• Overview changes in legislation globally/international standards, proactively secure standards, procedure etc. are timely aligned and implemented
• Investigates chemical accidents and environmental liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence
• Support chemical management of changes processes, classification of new chemical and products and developing of procedure for chemical handling
Moreover, you will be overall responsible for DPP & ET global training programs for chemical handling, ensuring compliance with organization and government standards.
Please note that you will be working on both sites Måløv and Høje Taastrup, other than a few days per week from home if desired.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you:
• Hold a bachelor's degree or master's degree in chemical management or strict-ly related field
• Have extensive experience in Chemical Management roles, in either a pharma-ceutical or manufacturing environment
• Have been in a Health & Safety role before
• Possess strong knowledge of local and international chemical regulations and standard
• Have experience in conducting chemical risk assessments and implementation of preventive actions
