Team & reporting

As a Chief Revenue Architect, you will be part of the Commercial department, which consists of the following teams: Sales, Customer Success, Sales Ops, KAM, Marketing, and RevOps. You will be reporting to the CCO and will have an important role in shaping and executing Inpay’s revenue strategies.

  • Role Purpose

    You will collaborate across departments and your mission is to align resources, enforce discipline, and unlock the full potential of our sales and revenue operations.

    You will act as an informal “executive advisor” to the CCO and you will empower the commercial organization through support, training, and strategic guidance.

    Key responsibilities

  • Drive a massive increase in revenue by implementing CRM discipline, training, and methodology.
  • Oversee pipeline management and ensure consistent revenue generation.
  • Support and coach sales teams, taking accountability for solving their challenges.
  • Develop and maintain robust sales collateral and ensure the mechanics of a top-tier sales department are in place.
  • Achieve revenue predictability and ensure wins are celebrated across the team.
  • What we're looking for

  • A proven track record in achieving sales and revenue growth in entrepreneurial settings.
  • Extensive experience in B2B IT services or high-stakes value-based selling.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies (., Meddic or SPIN Selling) and ability to implement them effectively.
  • High energy, outgoing, positive, and enthusiastic personality.
  • Results-driven, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Trustworthy and accountable, with the ability to say yes and no with confidence.
  • A systematic and data-driven approach to sales operations.
  • International outlook and experience, with an appetite for closing deals across borders.
  • Knowledge & skills

  • Payments industry experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable with technology and knowledgeable about APIs and IT systems.
  • Thorough understanding of the entire sales journey, from contract signing to customer retention.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Success metrics

    In the first 6-12 months, success in this role will look like:

  • Building close internal relationships, earning the trust and respect of everybody in the commercial organization.
  • Achieving pipeline precision that satisfies even the CFO.
  • Elevating the performance of the sales team and aligning them under one successful methodology.
  • Securing new customers on a daily basis (Q4) within the sales organization.
  • Removing major stumbling blocks in the sales process.
  • Achieving outstanding ENPS for the commercial team.
  • Building a reputation for a high-energy, effective commercial department.
  • Location & work setup

  • The role is based in the Copenhagen office.
  • Working hours are flexible but the Chief Revenue Architect is expected to be in the office on a daily basis.
  • Frequent travel required, including at least one week per month in London.
