The position
As an Operational Excellence Engineer at Novo Nordisk, you play a pivotal role in driving process improvement and operational efficiency within our manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include leading initiatives to enhance productivity, optimize workflows, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
More specifically, you will:
• Analyze production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies for efficiency improvements.
• Work closely with shopfloor teams to identify areas for process improvement and operational optimization.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Provide hands-on support to shopfloor personnel in implementing operational best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and drive operational excellence.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or lean manufacturing within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

Novo Nordisk is significantly increasing its manufacturing capacity across all areas to serve more patients in the coming years. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products.
