Client Advisor, Casualty Practice (Nordhavn)

What can you expect:

As our new Client Advisor within the Casualty Practice Team, you will be responsible for advising large and medium sized Danish companies. Your role will involve providing coordinated services and placements to meet our clients' insurance and risk management needs primarily within the field of General and Product liability insurance. This includes advising on risk, placing and designing domestic and international insurance programs, negotiating wordings, and provide tailormade solutions to clients.

In this position, you will have the responsibility of ensuring that all aspects of the client's General- and Product liability insurance programs and risk management are handled in a timely, technically accurate, and compliant manner. You will report to Pernille Schyberg Nørgaard.

We will rely on you to:

Provide daily advice regarding General and Product liability insurance and handling of domestic and international insurance programs

Perform analytical tasks, such as analysing policies, claims data, and business risks incl. review of contracts with a particular focus on insurance and liability aspects.

Place and design tailor-made domestic and international insurance programs

Prepare renewal proposals and tender material, as well as compare insurance offers and recommend the right solutions to our clients.

Manage renewal and tender process including negotiations with insurance companies

Contribute to ensure the development of best practice solutions, product development and preparation of insurance clauses

Support the sales organisation in connection with broker tenders and campaigns

Claims assistance

What you need to have:

The success criteria for this position are your ability to understand the needs of the clients and provide them with professional advice that adds value.

We value the following background:

Education in Law (Cand.jur), Business Law (Cand.merc.jur), or alternatively, education as an insurance broker/professional with experience in the liability field, primarily in general and product liability.

Several years of experience with general and product liability risks, for example, as an insurance broker, underwriter, or claims handler. You may also have a background in the legal industry or a group legal department.

Strong advisory skills, professionalism and creativity.

Ability to work independently but recognize that the best results are often achieved through teamwork.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and precision in your communication.

Fluent in written and spoken English.

In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
