Cloud Architect – Amplify DSB's journey towards advanced cloud infrastructure

We are looking to hire a Cloud Architect who will be the driving force behind our ambitious plans to expand the Azure Platform infrastructure as well as optimize security and efficiency across technologies.

Welcome to our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) In our team, we work in the span between innovation and operations. CCOE is part of the Datacenter & Cloud Services department, where we, together with skilled colleagues, explore and develop DSB's cloud infrastructure.

We are facing the implementation of a new cloud operating model that will push the operational maturity of ourselves and the entire organization.

You will be part of the CCOE team consisting of three committed DSB employees, a few consultants, and a member from our Indian sourcing partner.

Collaboration is central to the way we solve the tasks.

You will be part of a team consisting of experienced architects, as well as new learners eager to take on the world of Azure.

Your everyday life as a Cloud Architect As our new Cloud Architect, you will be in charge of lifting DSB's public cloud infrastructure to the next level.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure ranging from networking, databases, and container-based solutions – and everything in between.

Your primary tasks will be

• Advice on the use of Azure technologies based on best practices
• Design and development of secure and scalable cloud solutions
• Participate in projects as a Cloud Architect

We are working with solutions in all areas of cloud – from data services, AI/ML and container-based utilizing the newest services available from Microsoft.

Our infrastructure setup also includes Microsoft Security tools and Azure Virtual Desktop.

Who are you? You will do everything from A to Z within IT – advising teams on proper technical solutions, designing solutions as well as implementing them.

We therefore imagine that you are

• Comfortable with designing solutions using Azure native services
• Comfortable with networking (Azure Virtual WAN, Azure Firewall, etc.)
• Experienced with IaC (Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, YAML pipelines, etc.)
• Experienced in Entra ID authentication

Are you our new Senior Azure Cloud Architect? We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Azure Cloud Architect, with at least 3 years’ experience with Azure.

You are familiar with designing solutions using Azure native services.

We will be looking for these in your application

• Experienced working with Azure
• Practical experience with designing, implementation, and operations of Azure Cloud solutions
• Good project management skills
  

In addition, we will be looking for your knowledge of IaC, Entra ID as well as your general knowledge of the Azure environment.

You don’t have to be an expert within all areas – but we need someone who is a generalist and experienced within all areas, and an expert within one or more fields of Azure.
