Cloud Architect

This is the role and main tasks
This is an opportunity to work in a growing enterprise environment with fast-moving projects key to business growth. Based within the Technical Support Services Team, the Cloud Architect will focus on supporting the Stibo Systems Master Data Management platform as SaaS offering.

You will have a broad interface and engagement internally within Stibo Systems as well as externally in relation to prospects, customers, and partners.

• Design and Implement Monitoring Solutions: Architect and deploy monitoring frameworks, dashboards, and alerting systems to ensure reliability, performance, and availability of critical systems.
• Analyze and Optimize Performance: Conduct capacity planning, performance analysis, and troubleshooting to address bottlenecks and enhance system reliability.
• Collaborate and Strategize: Work with cross-functional teams to define monitoring strategies and provide IT input on new business initiatives and strategic planning.
• Promote Best Practices: Implement log management, metrics collection, and distributed tracing while staying updated on emerging technologies and DevOps trends.
• Mentor and Document: Guide the core architecture team on best practices and maintain key infrastructure architecture artifacts.

Who we are looking for:

• Extensive Experience: Minimum 6 years in Systems or Cloud Architecture, with at least 3 years specializing in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (AWS and Azure). Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert certification is nice to have
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog) and automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible).
• Security Knowledge: Familiarity with Azure Security components, including Security Center, Operations, Microsoft Defender, and Solution Architect.
• Development and Deployment: Strong understanding of Agile or DevOps methodologies, micro-service topologies, API strategies, and full system lifecycles.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Proven experience leading architecture projects and working effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
