We are looking for an experienced Platform engineer/Cloud engineer for the platform team to ensure a sustainable setup and operation of the DataCore platform. You will have a focus on ensuring that the data mesh / data platform is scalable, robust, reliable and secure. You will be joining our client in the pharmaceutical industry,

Location: Greater Copenhagen, hybrid.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Strong experience as a Platform Engineer/Cloud Engineer
• Experience building, delivering and operating platforms. Could be any kind: Data-mesh platform, Container platform, Monitoring, Data Analytics, etc.
• A solid understanding of concepts like self-service, developer experience on platforms, platform community engagement (know your users), responsibility and boundary setting
• Infrastructure-as-code: Terraform, ARM/Bicep templates, Pulumi
• Software development experience: Any object-oriented language: Python (preferred), C#, Java, Rust, Go
• Cloud infrastructure development: Primarily Azure, MS Entra-ID
• Team-first mindset: We need solid teams, not individual heroes
• Agile mindset: Profile capabilities (Nice to haves)
• Scripting competencies: Not that important since they get developed together with the other competencies
• Strong English skills - both oral and written
• Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Update terraform modules to increase security, reliability and useability.
• Partner with down-stream teams for success, decreasing lead time for their use of the platform
• Configure Databricks to ensure it is fit for purpose for the engineering teams
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep and Terraform.
• Ensure that cloud-based systems are running optimally.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-based system issues
• Develop and maintain cloud-based system documentation
• Create and maintain cloud-based system test plans
• Analyze and optimize cloud-based system performance
