Job Description
Ready to drive the commercial success of onshore wind farms while contributing to a greener future? Join Vattenfall as a Part-Time Commercial Manager in Denmark and take the lead on contract negotiations, supplier relationships, and financial planning for our renewable energy assets. You will collaborate with a dynamic, cross-border team of experts committed to operational excellence and sustainability.
You will join our Onshore Operations Team, part of Business Area (BA) Wind, which develops, constructs, and operates onshore wind farms—as well as other renewable energy activities—across multiple countries. Our onshore wind assets are situated in the UK, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark. The Commercial Managers in each country form a virtual empowered team (VET), providing cross-border commercial and contractual support to ensure operational excellence and profitability.

You won’t only be involved in developing projects but also pioneering cutting-edge innovation, new business models and ways of working with communities and the environment. Working as part of a leading European utility also means you could be helping a growing number of major businesses and brands achieve their own sustainability goals through partnerships.

As a Commercial Manager supporting our Danish Wind Farms, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance, maintaining essential contracts, and ensuring all stakeholders adhere to strong governance practices. Working part-time (three days per week), you will partner closely with operational teams, suppliers, and various internal departments such as Procurement and Finance. You will play a pivotal role in shaping commercial strategies, handling insurance claims, and providing input to financial business plans—ensuring that all commercial aspects of our onshore assets align with Vattenfall’s overall policy and procedures. In addition to supporting the Danish portfolio, you will collaborate with our international Commercial VET on cross-country initiatives and process improvements that enhance the operational and commercial integrity of our wind farms.
