Commissioning Manager with electrical background

About the Position
We are seeking Commissioning Managers for offshore wind farm substation construction projects. The commissioning will take place partly at the yard in Aalborg and partly after installation offshore. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will manage the commissioning teams, coordinate commissioning procedures, and document site tests. Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical and Electrical Completion & Commissioning:
• Develop and implement the completion philosophy and commissioning procedures.
• Manage completion activities and coordinate commissioning manning for site operations.
• Oversee energization of switchboards with site engineers.
• Testing & Documentation:
• Coordinate Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and other functionality tests during installation.
• Document all commissioning activities, including tests and corrective actions.
• Verify and upload sub-supplier calibration certificates.
• Safety & Project Support:
• Act as a safety role model on site and manage LOTO procedures with site engineers.
• Provide input for risk registers and guide work activities according to the P6 plan.
• Follow up on deficiencies (FAT, YAT, HAT, SAT) and prepare carry-over work lists for handover.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in commissioning management, preferably in offshore wind or heavy electrical sectors.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical completion and commissioning processes.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with safety protocols, risk management, and documentation systems.
